We are committed to conducting our business in a professional and ethical manner, paying particular attention to our environmental responsibilities.
Paper: We do use a lot of paper! The vast majority, however, is FSC certified or recycled. We are working towards full FSC certification which means that we will be able to trace all our papers from the tree to the customer. FSC - the trademark of the Forest Stewardship Council - indicates that the wood used to make the product comes from a forest which is well managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
Cleaning: We do have to clean down our printing presses. We have contracted to use washable cloths rather than disposable wipes to minimise our landfill impact.
Recycling: All of our scrap and paper offcuts are saved and collected regularly by a recycling company.
Chemicals: Some harmful chemicals are used in the print industry, however we guarantee to use a specialist chemical recycler - not the public sewage system!
